Within two months of being born, a puppy's brain and response patterns are similar to that of an adult dog's brain. This rapid change has been observed via the use of EEG. Because of the EEG reading, you might think that a dog at this young age should have the same ability to learn as an older dog, but this is not the case, irrespective of what the brain wave patterns show.
